Day 1:
Nairobi - Samburu Game reserve. 340
km: 6Hrs.-The
highlight of this Reserve is the
spectacular scenic beauty, rivers
and forest. The local people have
very rich and colorful cultural
heritage. Wildlife includes,
leopards, hippos, elephants, lions,
reticulated giraffes, grevy’s
zebras, bongos and crocodiles in the
Uaso Nyiro River.
Accommodations: Several Game Lodges
& a public campsite located inside
the park.
Depart Nairobi for the Samburu game
reserve.
The drive takes you through the
Kenya highlands via tea, coffee and
subsistence farmlands. You shall
experience different climatic and
vegetative zones on today's road
journey.
Arrive at your Samburu lodge or
tented camp for lunch.
Afternoon game viewing drive.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge
or tented camp.
Day 2:
Samburu Game Reserve.
Day spent at the Samburu game
reserve with game viewing drives.
Game viewing is concentrated along
the Ewaso Nyiro River, the lifeline
of this semi desert environment.
Meals and overnight at your lodge or
tented camp.
Day 3: Samburu
Game Reserve - Mount Kenya: 180 km:
3 Hrs.-These
parks and game reserves are part of
the most fascinating sanctuaries in
terms of scenic splendors and the
great variety of wildlife. Mount
Kenya N. Park lies at an altitude of
approximately 3,400m – 5,200m. It
offers mountain attractions and
flora & fauna found at different
altitudes. The wildlife includes
colobus monkeys, bushbucks,
elephants, olive baboon, waterbucks,
leopards, giant forest hogs, genet
cats, hyena and the elusive bongo.

We head for the cooler Mount Kenya
region at the base of the Mount
Kenya.
Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon
optional hiking opportunities.
Dinner and overnight game viewing
from the comfort of your tree hotel.
Day 4: Mount
Kenya -Aberdares: 80 km: 1 Hr.-The
Aberdare ranges lie at an altitude
of about 2134-4268 m and is home to
the first tree hotel in Africa and
harbors significant memories in
world history. In 1952, Queen
Elizabeth 11 learnt of her accession
to the British throne while she was
a guest at the Tree Tops Lodge
following the death of her father
King George V1. It is also at the
nearby town of Nyeri that lays the
remains and tomb of Lord Baden
Powel, the founder of the Worldwide
Boy Scouts Movement.
Accommodation: Lodges, self-catering
bandas, public campsite.
Break fast at the Mount Kenya.
Morning spent with optional natural
activities.
Proceed to the Aberdares. Lunch at a
base hotel.
Afternoon transfer to a tree hotel.
Evening, dinner and overnight game
viewing from the comfort of your
tree hotel.
Day 5:
Aberdares - Lake Nakuru National
Park: 240 km: 4 Hrs.-160
km from Nairobi. A shallow alkaline
lake on the edge of Nakuru town is
worlds famous of levels that
determines the quality of algae on
which the birds feed millions of
greater and lesser flamingos which
depends on the water. It is a
sanctuary for the black and white
rhinos and the rare Rothschild’s
giraffe.
Accommodation: Lake Nakuru Lodge &
Lion Hill Lodge. Also available, a
hostel & a guesthouse, Makaria Falls
campsite, all located inside the
park.
Break fast at your tree hotel base.
Depart the Aberdares for the lake
Nakuru national park.
Stop over to view the Thompson falls
at Nyahururu.
The drive through farming country
and homesteads via the Great Rift
Valley escarpment is scenic.
You arrive at the lake Nakuru
national park in time for lunch at
your lodge.
Afternoon bird watching and game
viewing drive. The lake Nakuru
national park hosts hundreds of
thousands of the flamingoes and
other bird species.
The lake Nakuru national park in its
sanctuary hosts the black and white
rhinos. Dinner and overnight at your
lake Nakuru lodge.
Day 6:
Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai
Mara Game Reserve: 265 km: 5 Hrs.-This
reserve is Kenya’s most popular game
sanctuary, most famous and visited
game reserve in Kenya. The park
adjoins the Serengeti park of
Tanzania. A land of undulating hills
and rolling grasslands supports a
huge animal population. During the
months of July to September,
millions of wildebeests and zebras
migration overflow into the Mara
from the Serengeti national park in
Tanzania. The black manned lion
dominated the Mara, cheetahs,
elephants, cape buffaloes, giraffe,
gazelle, antelope and many other
plains game are to be found here.

owned campsite.
Masai Mara is the most famous
wildlife conservation area in Kenya
and indeed the world. This game
reserve is home to
a rich variety of wildlife in a
natural and untouched state.

Depart for the Masai Mara game
reserves with stopovers at the
scenic points. Lunch at the masai
Mara game reserve. Afternoon game
viewing drives.
Meals relaxation and overnight at
your lodge or tented camp.
Day 7:
Masai Mara Game Reserve.
At the Masai Mara game reserve with
unlimited game viewing drives.
The Masai Mara hosts the highest
concentration of game per sq km than
any other park in the region.
Simply stated , Masai Mara is a one
stop shop for game and scenery
viewing. All meals and overnight
shall be at your lodge or tented
camp.
Day 8:
Masai Mara Game Reserve- Lake
Naivasha: 260 km: 5 Hrs.-A
very picturesque fresh water lake.
There is good fishing, boat trips or
a visit to the crescent island.
Nearby is the dramatic hells gate
gorge reserve over shadowed by the
mysterious Longonot. Hells gate is
ideal for nature walks of between 1
to 5 hours, amongst the wildlife.

Depart Masai Mara for the lake
Naivasha.

Day 9:
Lake Naivasha- Amboseli National
Park.-This
national park covers 1260sq
kilometers and lies on the border of
Kenya and Tanzania. A real gem of
the park situated right at the foot
of Africa’s highest mountain
Kilimanjaro 5895m. Elephants abounds
in the forest and swamps feeding on
the lush grasses. Cheetah, giraffes,
impalas, leopards, zebras, wonder on
the open plains. It is definitely
photography’s paradise!

A bird and nature walk at the lodge
gardens on the shores of lake
Naivasha. Breakfast at your lodge.
Proceed to the Amboseli national
park with a lunch stop at Nairobi.
Arrive at the Amboseli in time for
an afternoon game viewing drive.
Meals and overnight at your Amboseli
lodge or tented camp.
Day 10:
Amboseli.
Day spent at the Amboseli national
park with game viewing drives.
The Amboseli national park is small
and compact.
The mount Kilimanjaro on clear days
offers a dramatic background for
wildlife photography.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and
relaxation at your lodge or tented
camp.
Day 11:
Amboseli National Park - Tsavo west
National Park-Tsavo
National Park [over 20,000 sq. km]
is the largest game sanctuary in the
world comprising of Tsavo East,
Tsavo West, Chyulu Hills & the
world’s largest lava flow. It is
located half way between Mombasa and
Nairobi. The outstanding features
are the huge populations of red
elephants, which derive their red
colorings from the rich red earth of
the park. Other wildlife to be seen
includes, buffaloes, rhinos, lions,
hippos, leopards, crocodiles, kudus,
gerenuks, zebras and many more
plains game. The park has over [500]
species of birds].
In Tsavo west are the Mzima springs
where hippos and crocodiles can be
viewed from the underwater hides.
Further south adjoining the park is
the Taita hills sanctuary.

Proceed to the Tsavo West.

Scenery and game viewing drives at
the Tsavo west.
Meals and overnight at your lodge or

Day 12:
Tsavo West National Park- Nairobi or
Mombasa.
Game viewing drives at the Tsavo
west.
We shall visit the Mzima springs to
view hippos, crocodiles and exotic
fish.
Later depart for Nairobi or the
Mombasa and Kenya coast beach
hotels.
