CAMPING SAFARI
This national park
covers 1260sq kilometers and lies on the
border of Kenya and Tanzania. A real gem of
the park situated right at the foot of
Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro 5895m.
Elephants abounds in the forest and swamps
feeding on the lush grasses. Cheetah,
giraffes, impalas, leopards, zebras, wonder
on the open plains. It is definitely
photography’s paradise!

THE
FAMOUS MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
This reserve is
Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary, most
famous and visited game reserve in Kenya.
The park adjoins the Serengeti park of
Tanzania. A land of undulating hills and
rolling grasslands supports a huge animal
population. During the months of July to
September, millions of wildebeests and
zebras migration overflow into the Mara from
the Serengeti national park in Tanzania. The
black manned lion dominated the Mara,
cheetahs, elephants, cape buffaloes,
giraffe, gazelle, antelope and many other
plains game are to be found here.
Accommodation: Game lodges, Luxury tented
camps, public and privately owned campsite.
Maasai Mara is the most famous wildlife
conservation area in Kenya and indeed the
world. This game reserve is home to
a rich variety of wildlife in a natural and
untouched state.
DAY 1 OF KENYA HOLIDAY SAFARI: NAIROBI/AMBOSELI
After breakfast we will pick you from your
Nairobi hotel.
Thereafter depart for Amboseli national park
a jewel tucked right under the skirts of
Kilimanjaro arriving in time for an
afternoon game drive via Namanga border town
for lunch.
Dinner and overnight at your campsite.
DAY 2 OF KENYA HOLIDAY SAFARI:
AMBOSELI
After breakfast, proceed for an early pre
breakfast Elephants Cooling off in
Amboseli game drive.
Return to the campsite for breakfast. After
breakfast proceed for another game drive
where a garden of Eden full of elephant,
buffalo, gazelle, and egrets and a host of
other animals enjoy a peaceful wallow
together.
Have lunch at your camp then end with an
evening game drive, where you will
appreciate the abundance of birdlife,
visitors will see flocks of a yellow
weaverbird with a patch of chest nut on the
nape.
Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 3 OF KENYA HOLIDAY SAFARI: AMBOSELI/NAIROBI
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive where
elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, Masaai
giraffe and buffalo may all be encountered
during a single morning game drive.
After a late breakfast depart Amboseli for
Nairobi with packed lunch enroute, arriving
in the early evening Jomo Kenyatta National
Airport where our services end. (OR SELECT

9 DAYS LAIKIPIA PLATEAU,LAKE
BARINGO,MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Day 1 – ARRIVE NAIROBI
On arrival in Nairobi you will be met by a
safari representative and transferred to the
Mayfair Court Hotel to rest. This garden
style hotel is located just a few minutes
drive from the bustling city center and
within easy access to shops, restaurant and
open-air markets. It has several restaurant
and two swimming pools. Overnight-Mayfair

Day 2 – LAIKIPIA PLATEAU
This morning you will be picked up by your
tour guide and depart by road to the
Laikipia plateau, a regions between the
North Kenya deserts and the aberdare
mountain Range. You will through the
beautiful Kenya Highlands passing Kikuyu
farms, and some of Kenya’s famous coffee
plantations. Enjoy a picnic lunch en-route
and arrive at Mugie camp mid afternoon.
The Laikipia plateau is comprised of vast
game and cattle ranches covering 9000sq kms.
This wildlife sanctuary is home to the
biggest elephant population in Kenya, over
2000 strong. Laikipia was made famous by
kuki Gallma’s book, “ I dreamed Africa”.
Cheli & Peacock camp is on a ranch called “
Mugie”, 50,000 acres of wilderness. This
wilderness has plains, valleys, and acacia
and olive forest. The ranch is completely
private.
The camp is on the edge of an escarpment
overlooking the plains in front, and wild
olive forest behind. At an attitude of
1,700mt(5,600ft), it get’s cool at night,
and warm during the day. The camp is hosted
and the food is cheli peacock’s world-
renowned home style Italian cooking! Herds
of zebra, eland, elephant hartebeest, the
rare caracal. Night game drives are
exciting, with excellent chance of seeing
aardvark and aardwolf. Clients can game
drive, walk and camel ride through herds of

Day 3-4 – LAIKIPIA / MUGIE RANCH
To spend two more days exploring this
beautiful region. Overnight – Mugie Ranch (BLD)
Day 5 – LAKE BARINGO
About 100km North of
Nakuru, is this beautiful tranquil fresh
water lake host to rare 300 bird’s species
seen no where else in Africa. Boat trips on
the lakes are popular to view the hippo,
crocodile and bird life. Also a visit to the
Njemps tribal villages or watch them fishing
from their frills papyrus boats is fun.

After breakfast depart with your guide,
driving down the Eastern wall of the great
rift valley to lake Baringo.On arriving at
the lakeshore you will board a motorboat and
travel across the lake to isla camp,
arriving in time for lunch. Overnight –

Day 6– LAKE BARINGO
Island camp has a spectacular setting on its
own island, in the middle of Lake Baringo,
with lovely view over the lake to the
Karbarnet hills in the west and Laikipia to
the east. Baringo is an Ornithologist’s
paradise, and the incredible variety of
colourful birds on a bird walk will make an
amateur birder out of any safari goer. A
boat trip to visit the hippos and
crocodiles, and watch the fish eagles dive
for fish, a great experience, or just relax
at the pool. Overnight-Island Camp (BLD)
Day 7-8 – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL GAME RESERVE
EARLY DEPARTURE WITH A PICNIC FROM BARINGO
DRIVING DOWN THE rift valley via the tea
highlands of Kerio to the Mara, arriving at
the camp in the afternoon. Kenya’s premiere
game reserve and wilderness area the “Maasai
Mara”is the northern section of the great
Serengeti/Mara ecosystem. The fertile Mara
plain supports an enormous amount of plains
game and their predators – a wildlife
spectacle unrivalled anywhere in the world.
Sometime between July and October the Mara
is host to the great wildebeest and Zebra
converge on the lush Mara grasslands in
their millions.
Cheli & peacock Mara Camp is in the middle
of this 3600sq. km wilderness. The camp is
in the protected koyiaki wilderness area,
away from lodges. In order to preserve this
special area the camp seasonal and its
completely dismantled 3 months per year. The
camp is hidden in a groove of Warburgia
ugandensis overlooking the plains At an
altitude of 1700m(5600ft),it gets cool at
night and warm in the day. Overnight – C&P’s

Day 9 – NAIROBI/END OF SAFARI
After breakfast and a final game drive en
route to the airstrip, you will take the
mid-morning Kenya flight back to Nairobi.
You will have a day room at the Mayfair
Court Hotel where you can refresh. The
afternoon is at leisure to relax by the pool
or for last minute souvenir shopping. You
can have an early dinner on your own, before
you are met and transferred to JKIA for your
flight back home.
EXTRAS – KENYAN COAST
After the experience of the bush, try
relaxing on Kenya’s beautiful and little
visited coast. Stay at idyllic palm-fringed
white beaches for several days before
returning home
