DAYS KENYA CAMPING SAFARI:
MASAI MARA - NAKURU -
SAMBURU - MOUNT KENYA -
AMBOSELI - TSAVO WEST -
TSAVO EAST

DAY 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara-This
reserve is Kenya’s most
popular game sanctuary, most
famous and visited game
reserve in Kenya. The park
adjoins the Serengeti park
of Tanzania. A land of
undulating hills and rolling
grasslands supports a huge
animal population. During
the months of July to
September, millions of
wildebeests and zebras
migration overflow into the
Mara from the Serengeti
national park in Tanzania.
The black manned lion
dominated the Mara,
cheetahs, elephants, cape
buffaloes, giraffe, gazelle,
antelope and many other
plains game are to be found
here.
Accommodation: Game lodges,
Luxury tented camps, public
and privately owned
campsite.
8.00 hrs: leave Nairobi via
the Great Rift Valley for
Masai Mara to arrive in time
for lunch and late afternoon
game drive. Experience the
breathtaking view of the
Mara plains and its
wonderful rich wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at the
camp.
DAY 2 :Masai Mara
Full day game viewing dinner
and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3: Masai Mara
Same as Day 2 with a chance
of doing a walking Safari.
Dinner / Overnight at the
camp.

DAY 4:Lake Nakuru-This
lake offers one of the
world's most
spectacular wildlife sights,
that of brilliant pink
flamingos as far as the eye
can see. When conditions are
right, between one and two
million lesser and greater
flamingos feed around the
shores of the shallow soda
lake, together with tens of
thousands of other birds.
The best place to view the
birds is from Baboon Cliff,
where you can look out over
the dazzling fringe of pink
around the lake's shores.
But be warned: you are not
guaranteed to see this
ornithological extravaganza
- there are times when the
lake conditions change and
the birds move on to other
soda lakes. So check first
before renting a car. Lake
Nakuru was declared a
national park in 1961 and it
now covers an area of some
200 kmē. Here you will also
see warthog, waterbuck and
large numbers of impala.
Other slightly shyer
residents include buffalo,
Rothschild giraffe, eland,
lion, leopard and black
rhino. It goes without
saying that this is a bird
watchers paradise.

Nakuru . Dinner / overnight
at a hotel in Nakuru.
DAY 5: Samburu-The
highlight of this Reserve is
the spectacular scenic
beauty, rivers and forest.
The local people have very
rich and colorful cultural
heritage. Wildlife includes,
leopards, hippos, elephants,
lions, reticulated giraffes,
grevy’s zebras, bongos and
crocodiles in the Uaso Nyiro
River.
Accommodations: Several Game
Lodges & a public campsite
located inside the park.
Early morning game viewing,
then proceed to the Northern
part of Kenya , Arrive
Samburu National Reserve in
time for your late afternoon
game viewing- Dinner /
Overnight at the camp.
DAY 6: Samburu
Mid morning and afternoon
game viewing in Samburu.
Dinner / Overnight, camp.
DAY 7: Mount Kenya-These
parks and game reserves are
part of the most fascinating
sanctuaries in terms of
scenic splendors and the
great variety of wildlife.
Mount Kenya N. Park lies at
an altitude of approximately
3,400m – 5,200m. It offers
mountain attractions and
flora & fauna found at
different altitudes. The
wildlife includes colobus
monkeys, bushbucks,
elephants, olive baboon,
waterbucks, leopards, giant
forest hogs, genet cats,
hyena and the elusive bongo.
After breakfast depart
Samburu for Mt. Kenya .
Dinner / Overnight at a
camp.
DAY 8: Amboseli-This
national park covers 1260sq
kilometers and lies on the
border of Kenya and
Tanzania. A real gem of the
park situated right at the
foot of Africa’s highest
mountain Kilimanjaro 5895m.
Elephants abounds in the
forest and swamps feeding on
the lush grasses. Cheetah,
giraffes, impalas, leopards,
zebras, wonder on the open
plains. It is definitely
photography’s paradise!

Depart Mt. Kenya for
Amboseli National Park with
a stopover in Nairobi for
lunch. Arrive Amboseli late
afternoon in time for your
game drive en-route to the
camp.
DAY 9: Amboseli
Proceed for an early morning
game drive hoping to view
the snow capped Mt.
Kilimanjaro, return to the
camp for breakfast. After
breakfast proceed for your
mid morning game viewing.
Lunch is held at the camp.
Relax between 1500 hrs and
1600 hrs. Afternoon game
drive. Dinner and overnight
at the camp.
DAY 10: Tsavo West National
Park-Tsavo
National Park [over 20,000
sq. km] is the largest game
sanctuary in the world
comprising of Tsavo East,
Tsavo West, Chyulu Hills &
the world’s largest lava
flow. It is located half way
between Mombasa and Nairobi.
The outstanding features are
the huge populations of red
elephants, which derive
their red colorings from the
rich red earth of the park.
Other wildlife to be seen
includes, buffaloes, rhinos,
lions, hippos, leopards,
crocodiles, kudus, gerenuks,
zebras and many more plains
game. The park has over
[500] species of birds].
In Tsavo west are the Mzima
springs where hippos and
crocodiles can be viewed
from the underwater hides.
Further south adjoining the
park is the Taita hills
sanctuary.

Early morning proceed for
your last game drive as you
leave camp for Tsavo west
National park. Game viewing
and lunch en-route. Dinner /
Overnight at camp.
DAY 11: Tsavo East National
Park
Mzima Springs. Visit the
Mzima springs en-route to
Tsavo East National park .
Afternoon game viewing in
Tsavo East.
Dinner and overnight at the
camp.
DAY 12: Nairobi
After breakfast proceed for
a game drive. After lunch
leave for Nairobi.
