Day 1: Drive Nairobi
to Amboseli
1000 Hrs. Pick up your hotel in the city
center or Jomo Kenyatta International
Airport and drive south of Nairobi to
Amboseli National park. Lunch will be
provided enroute to Amboseli at Namanga
border. Arrive Amboseli National park in the
evening with a short game drive to your
tented camp. Amboseli National park is
located in the shadows of the most famous
symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro and is
dubbed the Home of the Elephants. Large
herds, some time numbering up to 200 may be
seen. Arrive in the evening at your
campsite. Dinner and overnight at your camp
site.
Day 2: Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game drives in the
park. The swamps on the east of the park
attract Wildebeest, Zebra and Antelope with
the predators that live off them, chiefly
Lion which tend to be easy to view here. In
the south, Enkongo Narok swamp attracts
hippos to the larger pools and plenty of
Buffalo, Buck and teeming bird life
including the Jacanas that pick the way
elegantly and carefully. Giraffe, Leopard,
Cheetah, Caracal and Civet may be seen.
Breakfast, lunch, Dinner and overnight at
your camp site.
DAY 3: Drive
Amboseli to Nairobi and depart
0630hrs early morning games drive in the
reserve and thereafter drive to Nairobi.
After breakfast, check out and drive to
Nairobi to Arrive Mid day. Lunch on your
own. You will be dropped at your hotel in
Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International
Airport.
