Kenya lodge safari: Samburu,
Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo
West, Mombasa
Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu-The
highlight of this Reserve is the
spectacular scenic beauty, rivers
and forest. The local people have
very rich and colorful cultural
heritage. Wildlife includes,
leopards, hippos, elephants, lions,
reticulated giraffes, grevy’s
zebras, bongos and crocodiles in the
Uaso Nyiro River.
Accommodations: Several Game Lodges
& a public campsite located inside
the park. Drive
to Samburu National Reserve in time for a late lunch. Spend
afternoon game watching. Overnight at Samburu Lodge.
Day 2: Samburu Full day of game viewing
in the park famous as the place for the Samburu Semi-nomadic
tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's zebra gerenuk,
Beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and
lion. Have dinner and overnight at Samburu Lodge.
Day 3: Samburu-Lake Nakuru-This
is 160 km from Nairobi. A shallow alkaline lake on the edge
of Nakuru town is worlds famous of levels that determines
the quality of algae on which the birds feed millions of
greater and lesser flamingos which depends on the water. It
is a sanctuary for the black and white rhinos and the rare
Rothschild’s giraffe.
Accommodation: Lake Nakuru Lodge & Lion Hill Lodge. Also
available, a hostel & a guesthouse, Makaria Falls campsite,
all located inside the park.
Morning
drive south towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Take lunch at
Nakuru before proceeding for an afternoon game drive in the
Park. This is a shallow soda lake, which inhabits more than a
million flamingoes. The Lake Nakuru National Park also has a
Rhino sanctuary. Other animals to be seen here are lion,
buffalo, waterbuck, warthog and hippo. Dinner and overnight at
Waterbuck hotel Lodge or Lake Nakuru lodge.
Day 4: Nakuru-Masai Mara-This
reserve is Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary, most famous
and visited game reserve in Kenya. The park adjoins the
Serengeti park of Tanzania. A land of undulating hills and
rolling grasslands supports a huge animal population. During
the months of July to September, millions of wildebeests and
zebras migration overflow into the Mara from the Serengeti
national park in Tanzania. The black manned lion dominated
the Mara, cheetahs, elephants, cape buffaloes, giraffe,
gazelle, antelope and many other plains game are to be found
here.
Accommodation: Game lodges, Luxury tented camps, public and
privately owned campsite.
Masai Mara is the most famous wildlife conservation area in
Kenya and indeed the world. This game reserve is home to
a rich variety of wildlife in a natural and untouched state. After
breakfast leave for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time
for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in
the game reserve, which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary.
Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been
recorded here. Although July, August and September are the
months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating
wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year
round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal
area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa
Lodge/ Simba/ Nyumbu tented camp or Similar.
Day 5: Masai Mara Morning and afternoon
game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Meals and
overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/ Simba/ Nyumbu tented camp or

Day 6: Masai
Mara-Nairobi-Amboseli-This
national park covers 1260sq kilometers and lies on the
border of Kenya and Tanzania. A real gem of the park
situated right at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain
Kilimanjaro 5895m. Elephants abounds in the forest and
swamps feeding on the lush grasses. Cheetah, giraffes,
impalas, leopards, zebras, wonder on the open plains. It is
definitely photography’s paradise!
Accommodation: Luxury lodges & tented camp, public campsites
Morning return drive to
Nairobi arriving around noon. After lunch at the Nairobi
Safari Club, drive via Namanga to Amboseli National Park.
Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at Amboseli
Kibo tented camp.
Day 7: Amboseli Morning and afternoon
game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight will be at the
Amboseli Kibo tented camp.
Day 8: Amboseli-Tsavo West-Tsavo
National Park [over 20,000 sq. km] is the largest game
sanctuary in the world comprising of Tsavo East, Tsavo West,
Chyulu Hills & the world’s largest lava flow. It is located
half way between Mombasa and Nairobi. The outstanding
features are the huge populations of red elephants, which
derive their red colorings from the rich red earth of the
park. Other wildlife to be seen includes, buffaloes, rhinos,
lions, hippos, leopards, crocodiles, kudus, gerenuks, zebras
and many more plains game. The park has over [500] species
of birds].
In Tsavo west are the Mzima springs where hippos and
crocodiles can be viewed from the underwater hides. Further
south adjoining the park is the Taita hills sanctuary.
Accommodations: Game lodges & public camp sites,
self-catering bandas.
Morning
drive via the Shetani lava flow to Tsavo West National Park.
Spend afternoon game viewing and overnight at Ngulia tented
camp.
Day 9: Tsavo West Day at game drive
including a visit to the Mzima Springs, replenished with
million liters of crystal-clear water every day from
underground streams stemming from lava massif known as Chyulu
Hills. Mzima forms a haven for rich wildlife pageant. Have
dinner and overnight at Ngulia tented camp.
Day 10: Tsavo
West-Mombasa
After breakfast drive south to MOMBASA arriving around 1230
hours and check in at Voyager Beach Resort. Have lunch at
the Resort. Spend the afternoon at Leisure. Have dinner and
overnight at Voyager Beach Resort/ Nyali Beach Resort.
Day 11-13:Mombasa
Stay at Voyager Beach Resort on full package. This is a 5
star beach hotel located on the north coast only about 10
kilometers from Mombasa. Here we shall offer you full board
(breakfast, lunch & dinner) accommodation, non-alcoholics
and alcoholic drinks (local brands), beverages, windsurfing,
sailing, snorkeling, volleyball, lawn tennis during the day,
table tennis, and a variety of board games. In addition we
shall offer you an Evening Tamarind Dhow, which includes
seafood dinner and dance cruise in Tudor Creek on the last
day.
Day 14: Departure
Pick up and transfer to Mombasa Airport for your flight to
Nairobi and connect for your flight home.
