Day
1. Nairobi/Maasai Mara-This
reserve is Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary,
most famous and visited game reserve in Kenya.
The park adjoins the Serengeti park of Tanzania.
A land of undulating hills and rolling
grasslands supports a huge animal population.
During the months of July to September, millions
of wildebeests and zebras migration overflow
into the Mara from the Serengeti national park
in Tanzania. The black manned lion dominated the
Mara, cheetahs, elephants, cape buffaloes,
giraffe, gazelle, antelope and many other plains
game are to be found here.
Accommodation: Game lodges, Luxury tented camps,
public and privately owned campsite.
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive along
the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara
arriving camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game
drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2 & 3. Maasai Mara
Two full days in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most
popular game sanctuary where you will have the
best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion,
leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Morning
and afternoon game drives with an optional visit
to a local Maasai village. All meals and
overnight at the camp.
Day 4. Lake Nakuru-160
km from Nairobi. A shallow alkaline lake on the
edge of Nakuru town is worlds famous of levels
that determines the quality of algae on which
the birds feed millions of greater and lesser
flamingos which depends on the water. It is a
sanctuary for the black and white rhinos and the
rare Rothschild’s giraffe.
Accommodation: Lake Nakuru Lodge & Lion Hill
Lodge. Also available, a hostel & a guesthouse,
Makaria Falls campsite, all located inside the
park.
Depart in the morning and proceed to Lake Nakuru
National Park with hot or picnic lunch en route.
Arrive in time for afternoon game drive in the
park.
Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous
for, there are approx 400 other species of birds
visiting the lake. Also, many species of game
can be found in the park including the
introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white
rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo,
leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.
Dinner and overnight at the camp
Day 5. Nairobi
Another morning game drive in Nakuru. Depart
after an early lunch and return to Nairobi
arriving approx.15:00hrs. Transfer to the
airport
Price includes:
- Transportation in a custom safari minibus with
pop-up roof ideal for game viewing and
sightseeing
- Services of an English speaking driver/guide
- All camping equipment except sleeping bag
- Three meals per day
- Bottled water for use during the safari

days Kenya camping safari: Nairobi /Samburu / Lake Nakuru / Maasai
mara
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu-The highlight of
this Reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty,
rivers and forest. The local people have very
rich and colorful cultural heritage. Wildlife
includes, leopards, hippos, elephants, lions,
reticulated giraffes, grevy’s zebras, bongos and
crocodiles in the Uaso Nyiro River.
Accommodations: Several Game Lodges & a public
campsite located inside the park.
Upon your arrival depart for Samburu National
Reserve and arrive in time for lunch. Embark on
an afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight
at camp site.
Day 2: Samburu
Full day game viewing in Samburu you will have a
chance to view reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra,
Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, elephant,
lion and other rare species of animals. All
meals and overnight at the camp site.
Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru-This
lake offers one of the world's most spectacular
wildlife sights, that of brilliant pink
flamingos as far as the eye can see. When
conditions are right, between one and two
million lesser and greater flamingos feed around
the shores of the shallow soda lake, together
with tens of thousands of other birds. The best
place to view the birds is from Baboon Cliff,
where you can look out over the dazzling fringe
of pink around the lake's shores. But be warned:
you are not guaranteed to see this
ornithological extravaganza - there are times
when the lake conditions change and the birds
move on to other soda lakes. So check first
before renting a car. Lake Nakuru was declared a
national park in 1961 and it now covers an area
of some 200 kmē. Here you will also see warthog,
waterbuck and large numbers of impala. Other
slightly shyer residents include buffalo,
Rothschild giraffe, eland, lion, leopard and
black rhino. It goes without saying that this is
a bird watchers paradise.
Early morning breakfast, drive southwards to
Lake Nakuru National Park
Arrival in time for lunch at camp site
Afternoon game drive to view a pink flamingoes
in Lake Nakuru. Also to be viewed are Rhinos, in
a special animal BUDGET CAMPING SAFARI sanctuary.
Other animals to be seen are: King of the
jungle, the lion, buffaloes, waterbuck, warthog,
hippos and many more.
Dinner and overnight at the camp site.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara-This
reserve is Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary,
most famous and visited game reserve in Kenya.

After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive.
Time to share the beauty and magic of Maasai
Mara, where plain game is in abundance. Game
walks, bush meals and balloon safaris that are
offered on additional fee. Migratory animals
offers a spectacle that has no equal on planet
earth. The months of July, August and September
is the prime time for the “Great Migration” of
Wildebeests and Zebras.
A close contact with the Maasai People, who are
loyal to their culture is also possible.
Their dances and songs will have an impact on
you.
Day 5: Maasai Mara
Full day camping activities which include; game
walk, game drives, bush breakfast, lunch and
dinner.
For the bird lovers, there are over 300 species
of birds and some species are only found here. A
visit to Maasai tribesmen village will give you
boundless joy.
A true experience of animals roaming in their
natural habitant will open a new dimension to
the visitors.
